What does it take to rent a car?
- Payment Method For every car rental, a credit or debit card is always required as a guarantee, even if the renter pays the rental in cash.
- The driver of the rental car must be at least 21 years old for all car categories.
- The driver’s license, payment card and passport or ID will be requested by the RENTER and driver, upon collection of the car. All of the above must be original, valid and show the name of the tenant.
How old do I have to be to rent a car?
The driver of the rental car must be at least 21 years old for all car categories, except categories J, L, M, O, P & H, for which a minimum age of 25 years is required. Drivers under the age of 25 are subject to an additional charge of €10 per day, with a maximum charge of €100, plus VAT. There is no maximum age limit as long as you have a valid driver’s license.
Can someone else drive the rental vehicle?
The Automobile is permitted to be used exclusively and only in accordance with the terms and provisions of this document and only by the Lessee and/or the authorized drivers, the identification information of which is inscribed on this document.
Can I cross the border of Greece by car?
The automobile cannot be used οutside of Greece without the prior written approval of the Lessor.
What is the minimum and maximum duration of a car rental?
This document becomes valid immediately upon the signature date of this document and the delivery of the Automobile, which is inscribed on the front page of this document. The minimum duration is twenty-four hours (one day).
